  • What's your favorite thing about wrestling?
The competition of a match and that feeling of getting your hand raised.

  • What's the worst?
Weight management, especially when it comes close to a weigh-in.

  • Why did you pick Cornell?
It's been my dream since I was 8 years old to go to school at Cornell and wrestle for the Big Red. It's the best institution for academics and wrestling, plus it's only an hour from home.

  • Where'd you go to high school?
Chenango Valley High School in Binghamton, New York.

  • What do you miss the most about home?
Home cooked meals, my mom can make such a wide variety of good food, and my teammates from high school because they were like brothers to me (partially because one of them is my brother).

  • What's one thing you're excited about going into your freshman season?
The opportunity to be on such an outstanding caliber team that will push me to my full potential.

Noah Baughman

  • What's your favorite thing about wrestling?
My favorite thing about wrestling is learning so many new things and always adapting to the sport that changes so often!

  • What's the worst?
The worst part about wrestling is balancing time between school, friends, and wrestling.

  • Why did you pick Cornell?
I picked Cornell because it has the best combination of academics and a good wrestling program. I also loved it for the close-knit brotherhood among the teammates.

  • Where'd you go to highschool?
        Wadsworth High School, Wadsworth, Ohio

  • What do you miss the most about home?
I miss my family, friends, dog, and high school wrestling team.

  • What's one thing you're excited about going into your freshman season?
I am very excited to compete and be apart of the team during the journey of the season and the trip to Nationals.
