Chris Bitetto Joins CMSV Coaching Staff

In preparation for the 2016-2017 season, CMSV Wrestling Head Coach Dean Zenie has announced the hiring of Chris Bitetto. Bitetto will join the staff as an assistant where he will have hand in all aspects of the program, including recruiting and training.

Bitetto comes to the Mount after a seven year stint as Head Coach at Don Bosco Prep, in Northern New Jersey. During his time leading the Ironmen, his team had seven top-10 finishers in New Jersey, including three top-5 finishers and had his team ranked in national polls three times. Coach Bitetto had six individual state champions, 14 state finalists and 21 state place-finishers during his tenure.

Prior to leading the Ironmen, he was the assistant coach at Bergen Catholic High School, where he helped guide the team to two Non-Public Class A North Championships and had two individual state champions. 

Coach Bitetto was 1999 New Jersey state champion and a three-time state finalist at Hackensack High School. He went on to Division I Northern Iowa where he was a three time NCAA Qualifier and Western Regional Champion.

He is a member of the Bergen County All-Time team, Bergen Record All-Decade Team and a Region 2 Hall of Famer.

Currently, he co-owns Bitetto Trained School of Wresting, which has produced seven state-place finishers and one state champion.
