"The semi-finals and finals of states when I was a junior. The match against Matt Griffin went from one extreme to the other. I went from being on my back in the 1st period, down 5-0, to winning 13-10 in overtime. Wrestling Jayden Scott in the finals, I knew he was extremely difficult to take down. I went for an ankle pick and ended up securing the deciding takedown to win the match. Back to back surreal moments to say the least."

After HS, Ty attended Nassau Community College. He was a team captain and a  2x All-American finishing sixth as a freshman and third as a sophomore. He was definitely on the cusp each year, losing in semis both times. After his sophomore season, the University of Pittsburgh offered Scarlett a full scholarship. Two injuries hindered Tyshawn's final two seasons competing for the Panthers. He was the projected started and even ranked in the top 10 at times. After it was all said and done, he left Pittsburgh with a Bachelor's Degree. He also has his Master's Degree in Physical Education and Educational Leadership. Ty is currently finishing his Doctoral this semester.

Best HS Memory:
"For me, my sophomore season we had tri-meet against Fredonia and Phoenix, who were both ranked #1 and #2 in the state. It was held in our home gym under the massive spotlight. We ended up beating them both. Lastly, being crown Division 2 Dual Meet Champions and going out in front of the entire crowd at the Times Union Center to get our picture taken. 20 minutes later I defeated John Aslanian of Edgemont to win an individual state title."

After HS, Sean signed with Buffalo. He started as a true freshman and went 21-12 that season. Peacock transferred to Brockport in 2016 where he performed very well. His junior season he was ranked as high as #5 in the nation. He finished 6th at the regional tournament. Determined to cap off his career on a successful note, Sean won the regional tournament as was the #7 seed at Nationals. An injury in the quarterfinals proved detrimental to Sean's remaining tournament. He won his quarers match but dropped the semi-finals in double overtime. A tough decision of medically defaulting out due to his injury concluded his career with a 6th place finish and All-American status. We had to wrestle 3 top notch teams from Long Island to be crowned #1 including Sachem in the finals. Also, wrestling Baldwinsville in front of 6500 people in Manley Field House and a year later against Baldwinsville with over 6800 people in attendance at the War Memorial."
