The registration for the Lion's Den is now officially open!!

The two-day event at SUNY Brockport features individual tournaments (youth on Saturday, high school on Sunday) that will not only provide another opportunity in the Empire State for great wrestling, but will help fund the New York Wrestling News so that we can continue to showcase New York wrestling at all levels, giving the competitors and teams the exposure they deserve.

Among those in the high school field is Carter Schubert of Williamson-Marion-Sodus, who made the New York state tournament as a seventh grader at 99 pounds in 2017 after a 40+ win season.

Schubert has a long and impressive youth resume, including championships at FloNationals, NUWAY Nationals, the Freakshow and Eastern Nationals.

This spring, he was an All-American at both the FloNationals and the NHSCA Middle School Nationals.

Top three finishers will receive custom awards, while championship wrestlers will be featured on the New York Wrestling News website!
